Senior System Problem Solving Engineer

Project and work model:

• Join a global engineering team developing automotive power electronics for electric vehicles and plug in hybrid electric vehicles.
• Work in a hybrid model from Kraków, with three days per week in the office.

• Lead cross functional investigations of customer and product issues and perform root cause analysis across system, hardware, embedded software, calibration and vehicle integration.
• Analyze interactions between vehicle applications, electronics hardware, embedded software and power electronics functions.
• Drive issues from identification through containment, corrective action, validation and closure.
• Collaborate with engineering, test, validation and manufacturing teams; support customer reviews and escalations.
• Analyze requirements and design change impacts, using engineering tools for performance, network, measurement and calibration analysis.
• Provide technical ownership and leadership for critical issues and improve development and problem solving processes.

• Master of Engineering degree in Automotive, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 8 years of automotive system development experience in automotive power electronics.
• Deep understanding of system level interactions between hardware, software and vehicle use cases.
• Strong hands on technical leadership across sites and competencies, with ownership of decisions and issue closure.
• Systemic root cause analysis, customer interaction and structured analytical work focused on quality, robustness and efficiency.
• Requirements management and impact analysis experience.
• Experience with Polarion, JIRA, ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, CANoe, OBD scan tools, CAN bus analysis, MATLAB and Simulink.
• ISO 26262 processes and hands on HV Safety experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; excellent written and spoken English.
• Collaborative, positive and cooperative team mindset; valid category B driving licence.
