ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join an international finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing activities, and supporting other team members in their daily operations.

YOU WILL

• Coordinate and monitor accounting activities in line with month-end and year-end closing schedules.
• Perform closing activities, including prepayment accounting, depreciation calculations, and account reconciliations.
• Verify and authorize bank payments.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions and documentation.
• Review and support the work of accountants and junior team members.
• Provide training and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
• Cooperate with suppliers and other finance teams.

Kogo poszukujemy?

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an AP Controller or in a similar accounting role.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good command of English (minimum B1/B2).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of another European language.
