Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain defined customer base
• Check enquiries for technical feasibility
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations
• Check incoming orders for feasibility, prices, deadlines
• SAP order entry for production plants; check confirmations
• Prepare and optimize delivery schedules via service centers; order entry in Sidonie
• Reconcile customer requirements with finished quantities; make corrections
• Manage master tape and customer stocks
• Track orders through to invoicing
• Liaise with production plants in France/Belgium and service centers in Luxembourg, Sersheim, Haan
• Apply for and monitor credit limits; ensure timely payments
• Resolve price/discount discrepancies
• Handle customer complaints
• Prepare costing, visit/meeting documents, statistics
• Prepare forecasts
• Manage customer files
• Complete administrative tasks in German and English; French is a plus
• Participate in trade fairs and exhibitions
• Occasional travel / customer visits / factory visits

• At least a completed commercial apprenticeship and at least 3 years’ sales experience
• In-depth knowledge of international trade (INCOTERMS, payment terms, export duties, etc.)
• Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems (particularly SAP)
• Knowledge of the industry would be an advantage
• Very good command of English and German in a professional context; knowledge of French is a plus
• Strong customer and service focus, as well as excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work well in a team, adaptability, reliability and the ability to work independently
