Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Project

We are looking for a Batch Scheduling Specialist to support the stability, availability and performance of enterprise IT services in a mainframe environment.

The role focuses on batch scheduling, infrastructure changes, service monitoring and incident management, with particular emphasis on IBM z/OS, JCL and IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS).

You will
  • Maintain the operational stability, integrity and availability of supported IT services
  • Ensure compliance with service management standards, operational controls and data quality requirements
  • Support incident identification, troubleshooting and resolution in collaboration with the DevOps team
  • Help ensure service resilience, sustainability and recovery time objectives
  • Implement infrastructure changes while maintaining service quality and user experience
  • Support infrastructure changes to meet performance, availability, security and resilience requirements
  • Automate build, testing and deployment processes across environments to improve consistency and reliability
  • Improve automation, continuous integration, system monitoring and maintenance processes


Kogo poszukujemy?

Must have
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Solid knowledge of JCL for IBM z/OS mainframe environments
  • Good knowledge of IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)
  • Basic knowledge of Horizon IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD, and XINFO
  • Understanding of incident and change management processes
  • Understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in enterprise IT operations or mainframe environments
  • Knowledge of German
